1) Kenkenpa is the Japanese hopscotch. (Don’t ask me why, but the German name for it is “Himmel-und-Hölle” which literally means heaven and hell)
2) Kogasa is a karakasa(-obake), a youkai umbrella that gained consciousness due to being forgotten for too long. It’s said that Kogasa came from the outside world and the wind carried her to Gensokyo. The “gensou no kanata e” in this song is an implication to that.
3) Berobero is rather the sound you make when sticking out your tongue to mock someone, but I couldn’t find an English equivalent to it, so I thought “booh” will do w

ame ga agatta bakari no kagayaita midori ga suki
kasa o tatamu sunzen no, sora miageru kimi ga suki

I love the shimmering blue right after the rain stopped.
I love how you look at the sky right before folding up your umbrella.

wasurenaide hareta ato mo
kaze ni fukare tonde icchau
gensou no kanata e

Don’t forget me even if it cleared up.
The wind will carry me away,
To the distant fantasy!

niji koete, tatara

taka ga tada no kasa ja gozaimasen yo!
ameagari tatara
tarara parara karaka sarara tatara
tarara parara karaka sarara tatara

Over the rainbow, tatara
Tarara parara karaka sarara tatara
Tarara parara karaka sarara tatara
It ain’t just a simple basic umbrella!
After the rain, tatara
Tarara parara karaka sarara tatara
Tarara parara karaka sarara tatara
The simple umbrella is again, a flying parasol!

nakidashisou na kumori sora kobashiri no kodomo-tachi
mou imagoro, omoidashitatte osoimon ne
nishi e higashi e

Children pitter-patter under the sad-looking, cloudy sky.
They only now realize how late it has become,
Scattering to the four winds.

osoichatte ii yo

mizutamari kenken no baa!

You may be surprised!
Be my first! Booh~
You may leap up!
On one leg! Booh~
Through a puddle, Kenken no Pa~!

niji utsusu ame no ato mo kagami sora o kirinuiteru

mizuiro ni utsutta reindoroppu

tatara kogasa, kyou mo tonde parasoru

A rainbow reflects in the mirrors after rain, cut from the sky.
The karakasa leaps across and jumps in,
A raindrop of reflected azur!
The wind blows, tatara
Tarara parara karaka sarara tatara
Tarara parara karaka sarara tatara
Tatara Kogasa is again, a flying parasol!
