„A song to assist us all in fighting against the current incident!“
Reitaisai 17 and Comiket 98 have been suspended, and the circumstance that we cannot leave the house unless absolutely necessary goes on, but after thinking about if maybe there’s something we could do after all, we came up with this collaboration!
It will still take time until the corona situation goes back to normal, so in order to get back our peaceful everyday lives, let’s all join forces and do our best to overcome it!

Revolutionary War Fascism

arrangement/lyrics: ACTRock
K (Nazo no Jinbutsu K)
(Gekkachou/Kakumei Sensen Fascism)
(Inorai)

The title translation is the official one!
The most common definition of fascism would be “a political system based on a very powerful leader, state control, and being extremely proud of country and race, and in which political opposition is not allowed”.
Well, if we take into consideration that it’s kind of Reimu’s and Marisa’s job to exterminate youkai and maintain the balance in Gensokyo to remain as it currently is, I guess it kind of fits. Also they both shoot before they talk to the troublemakers, so you can’t really argue with that either lol
There’s no political meaning in the song, so please don’t try to read anything into it. I believe the term doesn’t have that much of a negative connotation in Japan as it does in the west. It’s more valid to criticize a certain song about communism whose PV had to be edited : P
If you still wish to discuss this song or translation, please don’t do it in the comments and don’t do it with me. After studying this stuff for three years I’m not in the mood for political discussions anymore lol
