I don’t think I ever translated a Shinra-Bansho song, although I enjoy most of them. What led me to try my luck on this one? It’s cheluce! I was surprised at how different (in a positive way) she sounds from her appearances in Akatsuki’s albums. This song is very calm and melancholic, which I like a lot. I hope you can enjoy it as well!
Somehow I’d say the song plays at the end of summer, although there’s no specific season connected with it. Thinking about it, it suits all seasons some way or another. There always comes a warm feeling with it though.
Stack seems to love the Back Dancer’s and I must admit I like them as well (especially Satono somehow, her design is better lol)
This arrangement can be labeled “synthwave” on which Stack commented she likes it a lot (as you can probably notice by her other arrangements!)
The song seems to be about Okina and the dancer’s trying to scout those with hidden talents.
“行きは良い良い、帰りは怖い” (iki wa yoi yoi, kaeri wa kowai) [The way there is safe, the way back isn’t] is a line from the Japanese children’s song “Odoryanse”. It was made because of the shrines being high up on mountains. To be more precise, one must not use up all their powers by getting up a mountain, because the way back is yet to be done.
